We love to play with the idea of ‘borders’ and margins… Blurring the lines drawn in a world which is continuously divided between right and left, rich and poor, black and white, men and women. Opposites, pitted against each other, are just confirmations of our own and others’ existence, like the images in an Escher illustration. Shadows bring out the light and silence brings out music. Opposites both push against and attract each other, in a kind of dance. When we dance, sing and play “A la vez”, it reminds us that our enemy is, in the end, only a mirror.
